I am routinely astounded that the little “Ohio Nerdfighters” group that I started not even a year ago has grown into its own little community within the larger community of Nerdfighteria. I love how open and accepting everyone is, and I love how it has become a place where any of us can go if we ever need love and support, and even prayer for those that choose to seek it. You all are the best, and most definitely don’t forget to be awesome! Thank you!
There are a lot more people RSVP’d for the event next week then I anticipated.

There is a nerdfighter gathering scheduled for Sunday, February the 12th at the Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio from 4PM to 7PM.
We will start out meeting upstairs at books and company. Bring paper and writing instruments (pencil, pen, markers, crayons, paint/paintbrush, etc.) to make nerdfighter notes to place in books!
Afterwards we’ll grab a bite to eat for dinner. (There is a new Crepe place at the green we’re thinking about trying out!)
while it is not an official part of the meetup, If you still want to hang after dinner, all are welcome to join the event organizer at Blind Bob’s on 5th Street in Dayton for a benefit concert. All proceeds will go to Love146, a world suck fighting charity.

Sufferating. That’s not a word.
You appear to be suffering from a disease known as signing psychosis, which makes you dress poorly; and so I, in commiseration, am also going to dress poorly. And so this is my outfit today. Kind of a “Weekend at Bernie’s look going on.”
I would like to ask all of nerdfighteria, in commiseration with John Green and his signing psychosis, to dress poorly. And put photographs of yourself on the internet and tag them #signingpsychosis. Preferably on tumblr or twitter so that we can seek them out and laugh at you.

If I get enough, I will compile all of the pictures into a video of made of awesome Ohio Nerdfighters dressing poorly in support of John and his signing psychosis.

A last minute Gathering of the Nerds is happening TOMORROW in Yellow Springs, Ohio!
We’re going to do a little hiking, maybe explore the town if we have time, and possibly hit up Youngs Dairy for some icecream!
